Campy's first test - Holl Resevoir

Our first ever night in Campy was to try him for size before a longer stay. We opted for a night by the side of the Holl resevoir, and blinkin fab it was too!

Not being cardigan wearers, we'd never had a motorhome before. What a shock when it turned out to be fantastic.   So tranquil... We went for a long walk, then back to campy for a lovely seafood pasta and a bottle of wine with the side door open overlooking the reservoir.

All of a sudden we realised that it was past our bedtime (the wine had run out) so we prepped young campy for sleepies. Didn't take long; get the bed out, close the blind, pull the curtains and open up the MacBook to watch The Hangover II.

We slept across the the van at first but although there was loads of room it was a bit lumpy. We shifted to length ways and slept like soused logs.

Such a good time was had that Campy secured himself a bit of TLC; namely a wash so good it took a whole bottle of T Cut (my right arm hasn't ached so much since Madonna's first book came out...), a 600w pure sine wave inverter and a TV aerial. Happy campy!
