We went off to Blair Castle for a look at the horse trials. It's a really good day out; highly recommended. I put some photos here.
After that we had a very brief look at the House of Bruar. I thought it was going to be a bit poncy and overpriced but from the brief look we got before closing time it looks well worth a visit. When we're in the area again we'll definitely go for a proper look.
Anyway... off we went to look for a spot for the night and ended up right on the shores of Loch Rannoch. It was absolutely idyllic; totally calm, nice and warm and absolutely beautiful. I even had the chance to take a couple of aerial snaps from the Easy glider. We'd definitely go back there but there were a couple of midges so be prepared to swear a bit.
The next day we went for lunch in Pitlochry, which by any yardstick is pretty damn quaint. On the way we stopped at The Queen's View, overlooking Loch Tummel - which is pretty spectacular but then again so is the whole drive along the Loch.
